What is Indian Head Massage?
Indian Head Massage is usually a seated massage therapy that involves specific massage techniques on the upper back, arms, shoulders, neck, scalp, face and ears. The client sits on a comfortable upright chair and the therapist stands behind using a series of alternative soothing and invigorating movements. This treatment can be enjoyed with or without oils whilst the client is fully or partially clothed, if oils are used on the skin, then upper clothing is removed and a large towel offered for modesty…. Indian Head Massage can be a deeply relaxing therapy or stimulating depending on client need – faster movements can increase energy, memory and circulation which help during exam season!
